She is an exchange student who will be joining Ellen and Roy
in late August. She will be in Oregon throughout the school year.
Stefanie is a German citizen from the state Lower Saxony. She
like to eat vegetarian, so send any good recipes Ellen's way.

Mary tried the sourdough bread recipe on the link
posted by Tom Bauer. A lot of work but worth the results!
The starter not only makes wonderful bread, it also makes
great sourdough pancakes!

Take a look at Goody's New (old) wooden Totem pole. Seems to be some different opinions as to whether it looks best in the house or the backyard. It is currently warding off spirits in the back yard.

Katie's Walk For Life project is just around the corner
and Annie will be walking the first lap with Katie!
The first lap is called the Survivors Lap because it is
a special lap for patients and survivors. Ann's picture
will be up in Katies team tent, along with pictures of
people they will be walking in memory of like Mom. Now
is the time to send in your confirmed pledge if you have not done so already.
